BABYS DAILY ROUTINE

7.30-8.30 Welcome and Breakfast
Welcome and Breakfast for the early children.
8.30-9.30 Arrival
All children arriving will split into cluster, key person groups and offer supported free flow play opportunities.
9.30-10.00 Registration
Follow the weekly planning sheet for the day's learning opportunities. Nappy change and some bottle-feeding will take place during this time.
10.00 Snacks
10.30-11.30 Play Time
The following opportunities will be available for the children to experience: observations will take place between these times Water/Sand/Story-time/Painting/Outdoor Play/ Treasure Baskets/Dancing/Singing/Floor Toys/Musical Toys/Heuristic Play/Together Time with key persons etc.
11.30-12.00 Nappy Change
Nappy change and some bottle-feeding will take place during this time.

12.00-1.00 Lunch time
High chairs turned into small groups. Tidy up afterwards.
1.30-2.00 Registration / Quiet time
Sleep time and quiet afternoon activity time.
2.00 Snacks
2.30-3.30 Learning Time
Nappy change time and afternoon learning opportunity time. Ongoing Observations and development progress. Follow the weekly planning sheets. The following opportunities will be available for the children to experience: Water/Sand/Story-time/Painting/Outdoor/Treasure Baskets/Dancing/Singing/Floor Toys/Musical Toys/Heuristic Play/Together Time with key persons etc
3.30-4.00 Nappy Change
Nappy change and some bottle-feeding will take place during this time.
4.00-4.30 Tea Time
Tea Time-small groups again as at lunch time.
4.30-5.30 Play Time
Evening playtime. Circle time/ music and stories (Tidy round)
5.30-6.30 Quiet Time
Late drink, quiet time, stories, puzzles Nappy change Setting up the room for tomorrow
