TODDLERS TYPICAL ROUTINE

7.30-8.30 Welcome and Breakfast
Welcome and Breakfast for the early children. All children arriving will split into cluster, key person groups and offer supported free flow play opportunities.
8.30-9.30 Arrival
All children will be arriving, circle time music and stories into cluster, key person groups and offer supported free flow play opportunities.
9.30-10.00 Registration
Follow the weekly planning sheets for the day's learning opportunities. Nappy/Toileting will take place during this time.
10.00 Snacks
10.30-11.30 Observations and ongoing development
Water/Sand/Story-time/Painting/Outdoor Play/Dancing/Singing/Floor Toys/Musical Toys/ Together Time with key persons etc
11.30-12.00 Nappy/Toileting
Nappy/Toileting will take place during this time.

12.00-1.00 Lunch time
Small sociable groups with a member of staff sitting at each table.
1.00-2.00 Registration / Quiet time
Nappy time, Sleep time (if required) and quiet activity time.
2.00 Snacks
2.30-4.00 Learning Time
Nappy changing and toilet training. The following opportunities will be available for the children to experience: Water / Sand / Story-time / Painting / Outdoor Play / Dancing / Singing / Floor Toys / Musical Toys / Together Time with key persons etc
4.00-4.30 Tea Time
Again small groups and clean up time
4.00-4.30 Quiet Time
Late drink, quiet activities and set up the room ready for tomorrow.
5.30 Nursery Closes
 Children are collected by parents and say goodbye for the day, collecting their precious items to take home.
5.30-6.30 Evening Session
For children who remain for our evening hour extra refreshments are available. Children also have access to a variety of resources and free play. Children are collected by parents and say goodbye until the next time!
