PRE-SCHOOL AND MAIN UNIT TYPICAL ROUTINE

7.30 - 8.30	Welcome And Early Morning Session During this time children are welcomed by staff and are served their breakfast. Children have access to resources of their choice.
8.30 - 9.00	Welcome and registration, stories and songs Our full day begins all children start to arrive and are welcomed into the 2-5’s unit. The children self register their names and are invited to come join registration time with stories, songs, weather board, seasons, shapes, numbers and colours.
9.00-11.45	Continuous provision (Free play) and rolling Snack Areas are opened in the setting where children can have free choice. Areas include Messy room, garden, Role play, construction and small world, mark making, snuggle corner and I.C.T area. Rolling snack opens and children serve them selves a choice of healthy foods drink.
11.45 - 12.00	Tidy up time and preparation for lunch. Children tidy up in the area along to our tidy up Song. Toileting, nappy changing and washing Of hands.

12.40 - 1.15	Group time, meet and greet, farewell and Registration. The children self register their names and are invited to come join registration time with stories, songs, weather board, seasons, shapes, numbers and colours. Children have group talking time.

4.30 - 5.30	Circle time, stories and songs The children are joined together and enjoy a range of activities such as stories, songs, music and dance and group games. Farewells
5.30 - 6.30	Evening session For children who remain for our evening hour extra refreshments are available. Children also have access to a variety of resources and free play. Farewells.
	Children rest as and when they require it, or in response to parental wishes.
